The restaurant was great for evening meals rather than the dining room, we ordered wonderful dishes. Enjoyed it, it had exceptionally comfortable bed and excellent service.

Brilliant setting, I had lovely time.
The place was clean with a pleasant and accommodating staff. The room was neat with a laptop or valuables, the TV, as for instance, had a good night's sleep. The restaurant was small for evening meals rather than the dining room.

Large, spacious and comfortable room where temperature is easily controlled. Same for bathroom/ shower. Staff were extremely competent, friendly and helpful. Owner enjoys meeting his guests, creating, overall, a very relaxing atmosphere.
Whilst in Room 1, experienced a continuous tapping noise like an open window or the like, which occurred all night.

I loved relaxing on the comfy sofa's by the log fire, the friendliness of staff & locals, the excellent food & the free after dinner liquers. I also liked the location especially as its rural, but, only a short drive from Perth.

I enjoyed a delicious late lunch with excellent service, feeling right at home, and the spacious room provided a comfortable retreat after a day exploring the fine Abernethy Round Tower, just around 4.5 km away.

Friendly and helpful staff made check-in easy.
The room had a persistent damp smell that was quite off-putting.

Had meals before in Hotel in the past, and a short stay for convenience, saving us time travelling from Arbroath to Leuchars. (family lives near by but no room to put us up for the night) Will still call in when we can for a meal. Very friendly, and value for money.
Nothing bad about the hotel itself but the road outside is very busy at times and very fast. Saw aftermath of an accident while we were there. Luckly no one hurt. Nice location spoilt by speed freaks.

Very friendly staff, good food and comfortable.
Would have been nice to have bottled water available in the room and a curtain to block out the outside light in the chalet.

It was perfect for planning our family adventures, and we really enjoyed cycling in the beautiful surroundings. The meals were delicious, with good Scottish dishes.
In my wife's opinion, the inn should improve its children's menu.

Breakfast good Room size excellent
Road noise annoying Even though it was a late request, due to late arrival, meal seemed to be the last in the pot. Decor dated in room
